My name is Bethany Cole, and I am a 24 year old homeschool graduate and the oldest of 10 children. I have started studying for a degree in English through Bob Jones University.
I am a sinner saved by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone. My dream is to share the love of great stories with people, because stories are powerful communicators. The greatest story, the story of God's plan of redemption, is the foundation for the best stories. Stories we read should encourage and inspire us to live out the truths we find on the pages of Scripture, and they should clearly mark the difference between good and evil. I have loved reading all my life, and I would love to shape others lives with good books in the same way my parents have shaped mine.
The popular literature of today startles me. It is hard to find good books, books that shape the literary skills of early readers, books that inspire creativity and virtue, books that you'll want to read for years to come. I hope that by sharing my favorite books, I can be a resource for those looking for the best of books.
